Possible Future, Probable Future, Preferred Future.

Greetings and welcome to the Residential and Hospitality Services Strategic Planning Web site. I hope that you have come here to become informed and learn how you can get involved. Our Division has long been known and respected throughout the country as one of the best in the business. But we can't rest there. As Michigan State University transitions from Land Grant to World Grant, we must align and position our Division to be world class as well. This strategic planning process will take the commitment of our entire organization, and I look forward to working side by side with each of you as we lay the groundwork for a bright future.

Vennie Gore
Assistant Vice President, Residential and Hospitality Services

H&FS DIVISIONAL REALIGNMENT - One year ago, we embarked upon a strategic planning process to map the future of the Division of Housing & Food Services. With a solid framework, we are now ready to design our Future State. On Thursday, October 30, we held a series of town hall meetings with staff to roll out the realignment of our Division to best position us for success in delivering our strategic direction. The implementation of our strategic plan will have broad impacts and it will take Spartan commitment to get it done. Please take the time to review both the Future State Strategic Plan Outline Document (PDF) and the October 30 Town Hall Meeting PowerPoint Presentation (PDF) and consider how you can help us in Delivering Outstanding Spartan Experiences – in all we do and to all we serve.
